I was extremely surprised at the quality of this product when it arrived today. It is made out of quality material and all the accessories are well made.

My only issue is that the button used to release the side clips is a little bit flimsy. I use the suction cup attachment for my windshield, but it has a mounting disk for the dash, so you can mount it there, and it comes with a clip for your air vent. And the best part is that it EASILY fits my Otterbox case. Very hard to find clips that do, so I’d practically give it 5 stars just for that The vent mount attachment works but is a bit wobbly and the vent bounces up on bumps. Another review stated that it ‘just worked’ with the Incredible. I have NO idea what that means because it will hold this phone and much larger as well. It keeps my iPhone still even on my rough country roads and my dirt/rock driveway. Quite frankly, I’m pleased with this product.

The windshield mount, however works very well and holds firmly. If I had to do over, I’d still get this, but I wouldn’t bother with the vent mount. If it works just great for this phone with the Otterbox, it will work for any phone. I have it on the windshield and haven’t had any problems at all, great product!

The vent also has to point right AT the mount, not to the sides, so DO NOT run your heat through that vent with a phone mounted in the cradle. Once you mount this, you cannot control the angle of the vents. Amazon promptly sent another one out, and it arrived within 24 hours. I am very happy with this product. I was surprised at the good quality for the price and would consider purchasing other items from Arkon now. I have used it for several months and it works perfect on my 2009 accord.

I see a reviewer who used plastic tubing to make it more snug fitting. I did not use the Windshield mount or dash mount and hence I am not able to comment on it. Holds my Samsung Captivate phone secure and stays on the dash or vent. I was able to rotate the mount in all kind of ways, until I secured it the way I want. This unit is completely adjustable and functions well. It is compatible with the Droid Incredible.

It works great with Otterbox defender on iPhone 4 – clever design and easy lock and release mechanism that has plenty of flexibility. Went out on a limb with this purchase but very pleased with this mount that will keep me safer and provides a great place for my phone.

The Vent Holder didn’t fit one of my cars but it comes with a flat disk that can be secured to your dash if you don’t like the window mount. Cheap Windscreens.
